Ya know, I almost didn't do it. I wanted so bad to leave this feature out of my website. I kinda had hopes that maybe, just maybe, robots wouldn't come here and leave bogus comments with potential viruses attached to links they posted. I removed all HTML from comment submissions replaced with BBCode. Yet, these robots seemed to have found out how to submit links in BBCode....
So, I did what I didn't want to. I refrained from doing so for as long as I could, however, it seems apparent that I should have done it anyhow as I've had to remove quite a few of these bogus comments. I've implemented Recaptcha into the comments section if all blog posts. This will aid in stopping this from happening in the future. As much as I hated doing this, it was necessary. We'll see if this keeps the comments section clean.
